What to do

  1. Get your frying pan hot on the stove. Medium heat is good.
  2. Put your bacon strips in the pan. Let them cook. You want them brown and a bit crispy. Usually takes about 5 to 7 minutes. Flip them halfway.
  3. Take the bacon out when it looks the way you like it. Put it on some paper towel, so it’s less greasy.
  4. Keep the bacon grease in the pan if you want, or pour out a bit if there’s too much.
  5. Crack a couple eggs into the pan. Careful with the shells!
  6. Let the eggs cook until the whites are set and the yolks are how you like them. Sunny side up is easy, but you can flip them if you want.
  7. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the eggs. You can add some chopped green onion if you like (not a must).
  8. Put the bacon and eggs on a plate. Eat it while it’s hot!

lightbulb_2 Tips

  • Bacon cooks fast so watch it. If it gets too dark, turn down the heat.
  • If you like your bacon extra crispy, leave it in a little longer.
  • No bacon? Ham works. Or even sausage.
  • Want less grease? Take some out of the pan before you add the eggs.
  • Eggs stick less if the pan is hot enough before you add them.
  • You can put some bread in the pan too and toast it in the bacon fat. Seriously, it’s good.
